Review
I never intended to pick up this book. I'd never heard of it, I'd seen no reviews on it and I was at the bookstore with intentions to buy a different book. However, when I saw the cover and read the blurb on the back of the book I couldn't help but pick it up. It was exactly what I needed! I was in a reading slump and I was going on holiday the next day so I wanted a light summer read and I thought a quick cutesy romance would be perfect. And it's also about a holiday romance so, you know, who doesn't want a fling with a hot boy in the sun eh? Or is that just me?

When I first began to read this novel I must admit, I was a little disappointed I wasn't a big fan of where the storyline was going and I found one of the main protagonists Hannah to be a little bit irritating. However, as the plot began to develop I couldn't help but fall in love with the story and the characters and I was rooting for Sam and Hannah the entire time.

This book recreates the adrenaline of first love and the pressures that our peers can put on us. The authors completely understood the emotions and the anxiety and stress that teenagers get put through and turn that into a positive which to be honest helped me a little in my own life. I couldn't relate to the whole summer romance but I could completely relate to the emotions that Hannah and Sam were having and I think that is another reason why I did end up enjoying the novel so much.

I thought the ending was just so perfect but, I would love there to be a companion book just to find out what happened to everyone after the book finished but, I have a feeling this is a stand alone books so I'm afraid I'll just have to be a little disappointed there.

That is pretty much all I can tell you without spoiling you I hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to talk about in my reviews or if what I do is okay! This is a new blog so, I am still learning and I hope the quality of these reviews will get better over time.
